Keluarga: Tanggungjawab Hakiki

Adik dah mula meniarap, tak boleh tinggal atas katil sorang-sorang dah...
"Babah niii, mesti balik lambat jugak. Aiman dah nak tido baru balik!" Dan pada malam itu aiman merajuk, marah-marah kat saya tanpa saya tahu punca. And mama aiman was not saying anything much too, mungkin kesian kat anak dia dok mengadu. To be frank, I was sad too. Merajuk jugak, sebab aiman tak nak kawan babah without any reason, huhuu...

Esoknya baru mama aiman cerita, aiman mengadu babah dah lama tak main dengan dia. Adeh, kesian pulak anak aku ni. Padahal babah pegi surau belakang rumah je pun, dia rasa babah tinggal dia lama.

Hmm... Even though I tried to spend some times with my kids every day, it seems not enough. Ye lah, pegi balik kerja, tinggal berapa jam je. This is the very reason why in weekends I try my very best to do something  or go somewhere together. Tapi bila aiman ajak main game lama-lama penat jugak melayan. So I would prefer to go to the beach ke, let him play sand and I can do some exercise too (lari-lari tepi pantai... exercise la sangat kan...).

Mama aiman ada jugak tambah komen, why I seems like not spending much time with adik, like I used to with aiman when he was a baby (not to mention less time spent with her). Yes, masa aiman baby I used to bath him almost every time, rajin bangun malam-malam and so on. It does not mean that I didn't do it with adik, but most of the time I let mama aiman to do it, and I just like help lite-lite aje.

Masa mula-mula kawin; berdua; so the attention is only for the wife. Then Aiman came joining. Being the first child, lambat pulak tu, of course he gets the full attention from the parents. Lagi pulak masa tu tengah study leave. Then adik arrived, menambah seri cahaya. Of course the more the merrier, but sehari ada 24 jam, more people/more job means less time for each other. Sigh!

Sometimes I wonder how am I doing as a father, a husband, a leader of the family...

  7. azdie, hi..it is not easy task that's why the reward is jannah. anyhow, flash back during old time so called study leave period, we can have time for family even we have to finish PhD. But then, working is not the same as studying. I think it is much more sakit kepala..anyhow, it is a responsibility that need to carry out.May be can spend some time to read story book with aiman, at least 3-4 times per week.Or you can teach aiman how to recite and read al-quran (rathen than send him to other to learn that), so your time with him is there:). remember, does not mean you have to spend 2 hours per day, 15-30 minutes is ok as long as it has a quality. I do understand how tough it is, since I am on that situation, but believe me..30 minutes play or have some activity together per day can make your children happy and less meragam! :). Good luck to you and mama aiman, and myself n hubby too:).(good luck to all parents then)
